Communications & Outreach Manager
RideWise, Inc.
(2018 – Present)
I work on a variety of projects ranging from pedestrian safety programming to communications and public outreach. Out of RideWise’s many program areas, my focus is leading our Street Smart campaigns and assisting our municipal partners with Sustainable Jersey actions that relate to transportation. I also run RideWise’s communications, telling our story through creating content for and managing our social media, newsletters and website. In addition, a series of webinars I developed in 2020 were selected as a session for the 2021 NJ Planning & Redevelopment Conference, which I moderated.

SunCity Paradise
(2018)
As a writer for SunCity Paradise, I conducted interviews with pop-culture icons on their travel experiences as well as wrote travel articles. Working with SunCity has exposed me to the content management system WordPress.

Constituent Services Intern

(2018)
As an intern at Congressman Josh Gottheimer’s district office, I assisted with answering constituent phone calls and logging constituent concerns into Fireside, a Constituent Relationship Management platform. I also assisted the Return on Investment Director by researching grants constituents could apply to and drafting grant memos and letters of support to accompany applications to the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. In addition, I conducted research and drafted letters for the Congressman.

Research Assistant
Jane Addams Papers Project
(2015-2018)
The Jane Addams Papers Project is a project being conducted at Ramapo College of New Jersey with the goal of digitizing Jane Addams’ papers from 1901 to 1935. As a research assistant, I researched and wrote the biographies of those who have corresponded with Jane Addams for the project’s website, using resources such as Ancestry and Newspapers.com. I also assisted with grant work by researching grants the program could apply to and drafting grant proposals. In addition, I worked on publicity for the project by writing blog posts. The project has exposed me to Omeka, a web-publishing program for digital archives and collections, and Basecamp, software for project management and team communication.

Township Administration Intern
Washington Township, Morris County
(2015-2016)
Worked closely with the Township Administrator and Office Manager on various projects, one being the annual Green Living Festival. I worked extensively on this project, corresponding with vendors, composing and sending out registration forms, creating flyers, plotting the layout of the field, and researching products and exhibits. I also conducted research and drafted letters for the Township Administrator, and assisted the Office Manager with office-related projects.
